**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative on our government project, you'll be responsible for:
* Using standard call-center technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to assist callers with online applications and respond to telephone inquiries within set time parameters.
* Reporting problems through an easy online system and responding to written and telephone inquiries from claimants and third-party contacts.
* Participating in training, attending team meetings, and reviewing internal and external communications to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures.
* Adhering to provided schedules and privacy rules set forth by the programs we serve.
* Completing all assigned training as necessary and filling out timesheets accurately.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service.
* Performing other duties as assigned by leadership, including working as a member of a team and effectively managing simultaneous tasks.
**Education, Skills, and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 1 year of customer service/call center experience.
* The ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently.
* Experience working with a PC and the Windows operating system.
* The ability to type a minimum of 20 WPM.
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to organize simultaneous tasks.
* The ability to work effectively within established contractual turnaround times.
* Experience working with the Florida Department of Commerce (Unemployment) is highly preferred.
