Aufgaben
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our platform teams. This team plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing our internal platforms, focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM), mailing services, and our backend architecture.
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team that defines the technical foundation of our company. The team’s main responsibilities include:
In this role, you will initially focus on hands-on technical tasks allowing you to gain a deep understanding of our infrastructure and system so that you know the code inside and out. Later, you will also take over managerial tasks and act as the people manager for the team.

- You are not afraid to get your hands dirty by actively contributing to development efforts with a focus on using backend technologies such as Golang and PHP (among others)
- You have found your passion in software development - you enjoy removing roadblocks, helping others, creating transparency and alignment
- You are responsible for advancing your team members’ skills and careers and inspiring them through purpose
- You make sure we are continuously raising the engineering bar, with experience and passion for software excellence
- You are responsible for the delivery of the IAM and Mailing product, which is part of our Developer Experience and Platform Area, while balancing time, budget, and quality
- You develop, monitor and own the relevant KPIs for your teams (cost, SLAs, SLIs, etc.)
- You contribute to our guidelines, policies and standards to improve how we work
Profil
Your profile – this is what we expect from you
- You have a background in a product team, focusing on the right technical solutions and don’t shy away from owning your products end-to-end
- You have several years of hands-on engineering experience in Golang and knowledge of PHP
- Initial leadership experience through mentoring, coaching, or in a managerial position is beneficial but not required. We seek someone passionate about people management who wants to grow into an Engineering Manager role
- You have experience with utilizing cloud and infrastructure resources and are familiar with tools like Kubernetes
- Your communication and interpersonal skills stand out, enabling you to collaborate effectively with product teams. You are fluent in English (C1) and enjoy working in an international environment
- Your approach is results-oriented, with a dedicated focus on delivering top-notch solutions
