They are seeking a full-time Engineering Designer to join their Structural team, focusing on drafting structural plans, managing BIM models, and conducting condition assessments for various civil projects.
Responsibilities
- Draft structural plans, create and manage BIM models, and details for structural construction drawings
- Measure, assess and sketch structural layout and details for new and existing buildings, bridges, tanks and tunnels
- Prepare detailed design calculations and planning reports
- Carry out Condition Assessments and structural visual surveys
- Project coordination
- Inspection and Contract Administration of heavy civils projects
- Other tasks as assigned and appropriate for this position
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 0-14 years of relevant experience
- A focus or interest in the design of heavy civil structures
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, Robot, SAP2000, Phase 2, and other industry related software
- Excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate proficiently, both verbally and in writing
- Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
