Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a charitable, cultural organization dedicated to presenting the best of international and Canadian cinema. They are seeking a Digital Technology Analyst to drive digital adoption across the organization, identify technology solutions for operational problems, and support the development and roll-out of digital capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day technology enablement partner to business teams – translating operational questions and pain points into actionable technology solutions, and maintaining ongoing relationships with key stakeholders across departments
- Collaborate with the Principal Developer & Architect on solution design and development – contributing to requirements analysis, prototyping, and hands-on technical work that bridges business context and engineering execution
- Lead or support digital transformation initiatives across the organization – working with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and shepherd technology change from concept through adoption
- Support the application portfolio through configuration, testing, requirements documentation, and user acceptance testing, ensuring systems evolve to meet the needs of the teams that depend on them
- Contribute to the evaluation and piloting of new digital tools and AI use cases – assessing fit, coordinating trials, and building adoption frameworks that let TIFF benefit responsibly from emerging technology
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, systems, and adoption progress to support organizational knowledge retention and provide visibility to pillar leadership
Skills
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, data & analytics, software development lifecycle, and/or artificial intelligence
- Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and design or deliver effective training and enablement
- Technical fluency sufficient to engage meaningfully in solution design and hands-on development; candidates must be comfortable working alongside engineers and architects
- Organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams with different stakeholder groups
- Collaborative working style with a genuine interest in how technology solves organizational problems
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- This position requires being in office on a regular basis
