About This Role
We are currently seeking dedicated Customer Service Agents to join our dynamic team at our Idaho location. In this position, you'll serve as the frontline ambassador of arenaflex, representing our brand at ticket counters, baggage services, and gate areas. You'll be responsible for ensuring every passenger receives the exceptional service that has become synonymous with the arenaflex name.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of customer-facing and operational tasks. Here's what you can expect:
Passenger Assistance and Hospitality
- Greet all passengers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner as their first point of contact with arenaflex
- Provide exceptional customer service to individuals seeking to travel, ship cargo, or utilize baggage services
- Maintain positive relationships with both internal team members and external customers
- Demonstrate patience and empathy when addressing passenger concerns, complaints, or special needs
- Communicate effectively through telephone, in-person conversations, and public address systems
Ticketing and Check-In Operations
- Process passenger check-in, including issuing boarding passes and assigning seats
- Handle all aspects of ticketing by operating electronic point-of-sale systems
- Process various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons
- Calculate fares, make change, and balance daily transactions accurately
- Assume responsibility for cash overages or shortages in your workstation
- Manage flight boarding processes efficiently to ensure on-time departures
Baggage Services
- Check in passenger baggage and cargo using specialized tracking systems
- Ensure proper handling, tagging, and routing of all checked luggage
- Assist passengers with baggage-related inquiries and issues
- Process lost, delayed, or damaged baggage claims following established procedures
- Coordinate with ramp operations to ensure efficient loading and unloading of aircraft
Reservations and Information Services
- Answer incoming phone calls to provide information to callers
- Page customers as needed and resolve problems or complaints on their behalf
- Provide current and accurate fare information, schedules, and reservation details
- Communicate flight arrival/departure information to passengers and visitors
- Answer general inquiries and direct customers to appropriate resources
Irregular Operations Handling
- Professionally manage situations involving oversold flights, delayed, or cancelled operations
- Assist inconvenienced passengers by rebooking travel arrangements
- Resolve customer issues quickly and within established company guidelines
- Handle customer complaints with diplomacy and according to company policies
- Document abnormalities and complaints as required for quality improvement
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete all required forms and reports accurately and timely
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and handbook guidelines
- Adhere to all safety regulations and security procedures
- Report any hazardous situations or emergencies appropriately
- Perform duties in accordance with the Ground Operations Employee Handbook
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet all physical functions outlined in the job description, including standing for extended periods, lifting baggage (up to 50 pounds), and performing tasks in confined spaces
- Technical Skills: Ability to type and use computer keyboards with sufficient speed to meet job demands
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on operational needs
- Training Requirement: Must successfully complete the Customer Service Agent training program with a minimum 80% passing grade
- Probationary Period: Subject to a satisfactory evaluation period
Preferred Qualifications
