Summary

 

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for reviewing, editing, and negotiating a variety of transactional contracts (including those with government agencies, private sector organizations, and international entities) as well as managing long-term strategic agreements. Contracts can range in value from zero-dollar transactions to engagements exceeding $50,000,000. The Contracts Specialist will review agreements and other documents to ensure consistency with company standards, templates, and leadership guidance. Additionally, the role involves negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, customers, and external partners, primarily through virtual platforms such as Teams or Zoom, as well as email. Occasional in-person negotiations and travel may be required but are rare. The Contracts Specialist will report to the Director of Contracts, who will assign tasks and provide oversight. Work requests may also come through the company’s Contract Management System or directly from other internal teams. This role is a critical part of the contracts team, supporting the Director of Contracts as a key partner in achieving organizational goals.

This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
