Associate Consultant

SPS Commerce is a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners. The Associate Consultant role focuses on supporting the implementation of SPS solutions by configuring systems, testing data flows, and assisting customers in adopting these solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical implementation of SPS products, including system configuration and testing
• Partner with customers to understand operational needs and confirm implementation requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful implementations
• Track project progress, manage tasks, and communicate status updates to customers and internal partners
• Build and maintain working knowledge of retailer requirements, industry standards, and SPS solutions
• Train customers on product usage, best practices, and partner compliance

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and interest in learning new systems
• Familiarity with XML or structured data formats
• Exposure to technical, systems, or project-based work through internships, coursework, or prior roles
• Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts or electronic data interchange (EDI)
• Experience working with customers or cross-functional teams
